On April 26, 2018, an article entitled “Heydar Aliyev's heritage and education in Azerbaijan” by Valida Karimova, Vice-dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, was published in the 12^th number of “Shafag” newspaper, a public and political newspaper of Guba district. The article is dedicated to Heydar Aliyev’s, National Leader, 95^th anniversary. The article deals with Heydar Aliyev’s role in the development of education, his care for talented young people and enrichment of our mother tongue as well as educational reforms realized in Guba by Heydar Aliyev during the period when he was in power.
