An article “N. Chomsky’s language skills and language use in syntactic learning” by Valida Karimova, Vice-dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, has been published in “Social and Humanities” journal, the first issue for 2018 (ISSN1680-1245), of Sumgait State University. The journal is included in Periodical Scientific Publications of the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The article deals with main components of syntactic concepts proposed by N.Chomsky, an American linguist, philosopher and public feature, as well as syntactic structure, language skills, language use and syntax in modern linguistics.
