On March 30, 2018, a creative evening combined of a number of symphonic works of the famous composer Vasif Allahverdiyev was held at the M. Magomayev Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall. Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, inaugurated the night with his speech. After giving a brief information about symphonic music and orchestra, he talked about the history and development of the symphonic music in Azerbaijan. Following the analysis of creative way of life and works of the composer Vasif Allahverdiyev, Hamlet Isakhanli gave the stage to the Uzeyir Hajibeyli Azerbaijan State Symphonic Orchestra. Orchestra performed five compositions of Vasif Allahverdiyev.
