On March 9, 2018, foundation meeting of “Khazar University Friends Fund” was held on organizational support of Khazar Alumni Association and Center for Alumni Relations. Baba Bayramli, Director of the Center for Alumni Relations, informed participants about objectives and duties as well as rights and spheres of activities of the Fund to be established. Participants discussed and approved the Charter of the Fund. Participants elected members of the Board of Trustees, the supervisory body of the fund, through open voting. Khalig Dadashov, Director for Strategy and Development on Europe, BP company, Shafag Mehraliyeva, Head of Rector Office of ADA University, and Jabir Mammadli, Coordinator of Department of Journalism, were elected Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Secretary of the Council, respectively. Ramal Ahmadov, Leading Expert of Head Office of Kapital Bank, and Raziya Isayeva, Center for Development of Khazar University, were respectively elected President and Vice-president of the Fund by unanimous decision of members of council.

Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, delivered a speech at the meeting stressing the importance of “Khazar University Friends Fund”, and wished the Fund success.
