A ceremony, dedicated to March 8 - International Women's Day, was organised at Khazar University on March 7, 2018. University administration, staff members as well as guests participated at the ceremony.

Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, Jabir Khalilov, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Firangiz Nasirova, Senior Instructor of the Department of English Language and Literature, Farda Asadov, Orientalist, and other staff members delivered speeches and expressed best wishes for female staff members of the university.

Department of Music and Fine Arts of the university presented a concert for the participants.
