On March 5, 2018, a meeting with a representative of Yanka Kupala State University (Belarus) took place at Neftchiler campus of Khazar University.

Dr. Hassan Niknafs, Rector of Khazar University University met with Dr. Yury Bialykh, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Yanka Kupala State University.

Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Turan Jafarova, Director of International Affairs also participated in the meeting.

Participants of the meeting discussed possible cooperation between the universities in the areas of mutual interest.
