Mr. Dan Stav, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan, visited Khazar University, on invitation of the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations of Khazar University, on February 27, 2018.

Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, had a meeting with Israeli ambassador Mr. Dan Stav. Associate Professor Irada Khalilova, Vice-rector for Research of Khazar University, Elmar Mustafayev, Coordinator of the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations, Baba Bayramli, Head of European Union Research Centre, and Sahila Mustafayeva, Director of Press Department of Israeli embassy, also participated at the meeting.

After the meeting, Ambassador Mr. Dan Stav delivered a lecture “Israel-Azerbaijan bilateral relations” for the students of the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations. The Ambassador also talked about accidents in the Middle East and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The meeting, which was moderated by Elmar Mustafayev, the coordinator of the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations, ended with question-answer session.
