A scientific-practical seminar, with participation of prestigious universities of Turkey and Azerbaijan, was held at UNEC on February 6, 2018. The topic of the seminar was “Fake science and academic ethic: modern challenges and development of new institutions”. At the seminar, Prof. Hamlet Isakhanli, the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, talked about the importance of transition of higher education institutions into research-centered universities as well as importance of creating a scientific environment and academic freedom at universities for the researches to meet international standards.
