The School of Economics and Management shall, by means of research and education, contribute to the development and application of knowledge. Through research-based education, we shall prepare students to contribute to resolving global challenges.

The mission of the School of Economics and Management is to contribute to the development and transfer of knowledge in all major fields of economics and business administration. The School tries to accomplish this mission by performing fundamental and applied research, and by providing research-based initial and post-graduate educational programs in business and economics. The policy of the School is based on the conviction that strength breeds strength, and that an organization can only reach excellence if it consistently aims at attaining the highest level of quality in all of its activities.
