2005 | LIC was involved in two projects: - CALIMERA (Culture Applications Local Institutions Mediating Electronic Access) and eIFL's pOPen Access Program 2005; - World Vision's Gift in Kind Program. Within this program LIC received more than 1,500 books for children. |

1995 | The Center for Education and Information Studies (CEIS) of Khazar University was established in 1995 as important outcome of the early stage of the partnership with graduate School of education and Information Studies at the University of California in Los Angeles under USIS funding. |

Due to the infrastructure situation, the Library carries on its activities in two separate Campuses: The East or Ahmedli Campus in the Khatai District and West Campus is in Yassamal Distric, near the Metro Station, "January 20 th." Both Campuses have their Libraries and Reading Halls. |
