The Nanotechnology Lab is a teaching and research facility, designed to give undergraduate and graduate students a practical insight into different nanoscale characterization and synthesis methods. Our Lab research interests span over a broad range of applications. Mainly we use electrospinning devices to produce nanofibers for biomedical (e.g. tissue engineering and drug delivery), technological (e.g. organic electronics and photovoltaic) and industrial (e.g. filtration and membrane) uses.
In addition, various tools such as Electron Discharge Machining (EDM) is implemented in this lab to synthesize nanofluids and investigating their characteristics and applications.
