Analytical chemistry research group

Mission:

The Analytical Chemistry Research Group at Khazar University is dedicated to advancing the understanding of chemical systems through innovative analytical methods and interdisciplinary research. Our mission is to develop sustainable and precise analytical solutions for challenges in chemistry, materials science, and environmental protection.

About the Group:
The Analytical Chemistry Research Group was established in 2024 and brings together motivated undergraduate and graduate students passionate about modern analytical science. The group combines experimental and computational approaches to explore molecular interactions, environmental processes, and the behavior of materials under various conditions.

Research Focus Areas:

  • Spectroscopic Analysis of complex compounds
  • Sorption and Removal of Heavy Metals using innovative adsorbent materials
  • Computational Chemistry and Molecular Modeling for analytical system design
  • Environmental Monitoring and Green Analytical Techniques

Collaboration and Activities:
The group actively collaborates with other research teams and academic institutions, encouraging interdisciplinary work and student participation in research projects. Members are engaged in both theoretical and experimental studies, aiming to bridge fundamental chemistry with real-world environmental and industrial applications.
