Khazar University organizes International Summer School in Corpus Linguistics

Khazar University's Corpus Research Center invites international undergraduate, master's, and PhD students and scholars in Language, Literature, and Linguistics to join the International Summer School in Corpus Linguistics: Corpus Tools, Corpus Analysis, and Corpus Building, taking place August 20–25, 2026, in Quba, Azerbaijan.

This interactive five-day programme combines lectures and hands-on workshops covering the foundations of corpus linguistics, corpus compilation and analysis, corpus-based research methods, and research writing for publication in Scopus and Web of Science journals. Resource persons include Dr. Muhammad Afzaal (Shanghai International Studies University) and Dr. Muhammad Imran (Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia, and Khazar University).

Participants who complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Khazar Corpus Research Center.

Dates: Arrival August 20 – Departure August 25, 2026

Venue: Quba, Azerbaijan

Registration fee: USD 500 (includes Baku–Quba transport, 5-night accommodation, coffee breaks, and lunch)
