On May 23, 2022 at 11:00 in the Department of Physics and Electronics of the Faculty of Science and Engineering will be held a scientific seminar on "Quantum Computers".
The speaker, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Professor Iman Novruz oglu Asgarzadeh, Head of the Computer Engineering Department at Ankara University, Turkey is a well-known physicist who has made significant contributions to the development of the theory of superconductors and the field of superconducting electronics and has enriched this scientific field with research. He is the author of fundamental monographs 'Unconventional superconductors: anisotropy and multiband effects' and 'Modern aspects of Josephson dynamics and superconductivity electronics' published by the prestigious Springer Publishing House and 220 scientific articles published in prestigious foreign journals, the vast majority of which (132) are included in the Science Citation Index. His works are devoted to the study of layered and multi-zone superconductors based on the Ginzburg-Landau and Eliashberg theories. İ. N. Askerzade also has outstanding services in the application of superconducting quantum bits and fuzzy logic, which is a key element of quantum computers. There are about 1500 citations to his works in monographs and scientific articles of world scientists.
The seminar will be held online. Those who wish to participate can join the seminar via the link below.
