Job Vacancy – Full-time Faculty Member / Lecturer – Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Khazar University

Location: Baku, Azerbaijan

The Department of Political Science and Philosophy invites applications for the position of a full-time Faculty Member/Lecturer in Political Science and International Relations to join the Department in the Spring 2022 Semester. The successful candidate is expected to start in February 2022. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications and based on Khazar University pay scales.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a proven track record of teaching in the fields of Political Science and International Relations and with a strong publications record. The ideal candidate should be able to teach in English, the language of instruction at Khazar University, and have some experience in mentoring and supervising student theses.

Required Qualifications:

PhD degree in Political Science, International Relations or related field
Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate and graduate students and supervising theses
High-level proficiency in English
Evidence of high-quality research output with publications in peer-reviewed journals
