The duration of full-time and part-time doctoral programs is 3 years, and 4 years, respectively.
Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan completed a master's degree program (defending a master's dissertation) are eligible to be admitted to the doctoral program on a competitive basis.

Documents required for PhD admission:

application (to the head of the institution or organization where a PhD vacancy is announced)
applicant’s individual registration sheet
biography
2 photos (3×4 cm)
reference from workplace
extract from employment record book for those with work experience
list of published scientific papers or abstract on the chosen specialty (referat)
notarized copy of university diploma in an appropriate form (for citizens of the Azerbaijan Republic who have completed higher education abroad, a certificate of recognition is required)
copy of personal identity card

Documents should be submitted in person to Khazar University Division of Graduate Studies and Research (Room 412).
