  1.  The duration of full-time and part-time doctoral programs is 3 years, and 4 years, respectively.
  2. Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan completed a master's degree program (defending a master's dissertation) are eligible to be admitted to the doctoral program on a competitive basis.

Documents required for PhD admission:

  • application (to the head of the institution or organization where a PhD vacancy is announced)
  • applicant’s individual registration sheet
  • biography
  • 2 photos (3×4 cm)
  • reference from workplace
  • extract from employment record book for those with work experience
  • list of published scientific papers or abstract on the chosen specialty (referat)
  • notarized copy of university diploma in an appropriate form (for citizens of the Azerbaijan Republic who have completed higher education abroad, a certificate of recognition is required)
  • copy of personal identity card

Documents should be submitted in person to Khazar University Division of Graduate Studies and Research (Room 412).
