On October 16, 2026, an academic seminar was held at Khazar University within the framework of the "Khazar Talks-5" project. The event was organized by the International Office of Khazar University as part of the project initiated by the Department of Political Science and Philosophy. Yuriy Husyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered a lecture on the topic "Ukraine–Azerbaijan Relations."

The "Khazar Talks" project was established during the 2024–2025 academic year by the Department of Political Science and Philosophy of Khazar University. The project provides a platform for meetings with ambassadors, academic seminars, and book presentations.

During the seminar, Yuriy Husyev spoke about Ukraine–Azerbaijan relations, addressing key aspects of bilateral cooperation and the development of relations between the two countries.

Following the lecture, the ambassador answered questions from the audience, offering further insights into various aspects of bilateral relations.
