On October 11, 2026, the TEDx stage returned to Khazar University after an eight-year hiatus, in an event jointly organized by the School of Economics and Management and the Economists' Club.
Although this was not Khazar University's first experience hosting such an event, the conference brought together a new organizing team, different perspectives, and professionals who shared their ideas and experiences on this platform for the first time. The event aimed to facilitate the exchange of views on the rapidly evolving worlds of business and technology, deepen knowledge, and encourage interaction among innovation professionals, young professionals, and students, creating a favourable environment for these objectives.
The conference was built around three main themes: Spark: Exploring how ideas emerge and turn into opportunities. Path: Reflections on the challenges, experiences, and decisions that shape the journeys people undertake. Change: The importance of adapting to innovation and preparing for the future.
These themes encouraged participants to recognize emerging challenges, identify opportunities, and reassess their present decisions in anticipation of future changes.
The following speakers delivered presentations at the event: Farid Nadirov – Adviser to the Chairman of the Management Board of Azer-Turk Bank OJSC and winner of the 6th “Yukselish” competition; Kamala Rovshan – Founder of the “Soulmark” club and personal branding specialist; Sara Rajabli – Entrepreneur and expert in evolutionary psychology; Kanan Akparov – Director of the DOST Digital Innovations Centre; Garay Yusifov – Entrepreneur and technology founder; and Elchin Azimli – Writer, business trainer, and specialist.
The event once again demonstrated that new ideas can change mindsets, shape different perspectives, and open up new opportunities.
