Khazar University Psychology Department coordinator Malak Karimova's article entitled "The role of music therapy in our mental well-being" was published in "Culture World" journal No. XXXXIV of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, which is included in the list of journals of the Higher Attestation Commission. In the article, the historical background of music therapy was studied, the subfields of music therapy, the mechanisms of the effect of music on the cerebral hemispheres, relief from depression, its role in combating stress and its importance in maintaining mental well-being were emphasized.
