On September 14, 2023, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Milana Abbasova, the head of Khazar University's English Language and Literature Department, and with the participation of lecturers of the department.

Hamlet Isakhanli, founder of Khazar University and chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the issues envisaged for the fall semester of this year were considered and new employees of the department were presented. Teaching issues, academic activities of the department and current affairs were also discussed.
