On October 25, 2022, AZERTAC and other websites published news about Khazar University's Department of Economics and Management holding a meeting with foreign doctoral students.

The news says that the main purpose of the meeting was to inform foreign doctoral students about the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, internal documentation rules, and instruct them on the preparation and publication of dissertations and scientific articles.
