On October 26, 2022, a cooperation agreement on joint activities in the scientific-research and pedagogical fields was signed between the Institute of Microbiology and the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of the Ministry of Science and Education at Khazar University.
The founder of Khazar University, the chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, professor, academician Hamlet Isakhanli, the rector of the university, associate professor Irade Khalilova, director general of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, professor, corresponding member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev, director general of the Institute of Microbiology, professor, corresponding member of ANAS Panah Muradov, and other employees attended the event.
The main purpose of the agreement, which includes the mutual relations between science and education in modern times, is to support the improvement of science and education, to develop interaction and cooperation between scientists and specialists from the institutes and scientists, teachers, and students at the university, and to develop a modern model of integrating science and education.
The general provisions of the agreement envisage the organization of regular round tables by specialists of institutes and universities for the purpose of innovative development of various fields of education. Additionally, scientifically based proposals will be prepared, and a petition will be submitted to government agencies.
The document also provides proposals for new textbooks and their preparation for printing, as well as conducting scientific-research works in the modern fields of ecology, geology and geophysics in the laboratories of the institutes by the faculty and students of Khazar University together with the scientists of the institutes.
The agreement also focuses on the development of scientific research programs, projects and the implementation of other scientific activities of mutual interest.
