As reported, Nailekhanim Isayeva, a prominent educator and educational organizer, the co-founder of “Dunya” School of Khazar University passed away on April 3, 2021.
Nailekhanim Isayeva was born on May 29, 1947, in Guba, Azerbaijan. She graduated from the Institute of the Russian Language named after the 50th anniversary of the USSR (present-day Baku Slavic University), and found a career in teaching Russian language in secondary schools and Khazar University.
Nailekhanim Isayeva’s life and activities were deeply dedicated to “Dunya” school. Her constructive and eternal impact was undeniable on the establishment and development of “Dunya” School under Khazar University in 1998, the first private university in Azerbaijan.
Under her leadership and supervision, the school became famous in the Azerbaijani secondary education system as an innovative educational institution and gained public prestige. In 2009, “Dunya” School became a member of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and received an international status and identity. During 2012-2013 academic year, Dunya School was awarded the title of “The Best School of the Year” in Azerbaijan.
Nailekhanim Isayeva also had a fruitful role as an advisor to Khazar University’s Board of Directors and Trustees since 2010.
In addition to her pedagogical activities, Nailekhanim Isayeva has composed numerous impressive songs, which play prominent roles in singers performances.
Nailekhanim’s friends and acquaintances from Azerbaijan and around the world, including Europe, Asia, America, Africa, and Australia, well-known personalities and ordinary people have contacted Professor Hamlet Isakhanli to express their deeply felt condolences. He is grateful to everyone who shares their grief.
Khazar University’s Board of Directors and Trustees has planned a series of events to perpetuate the memory of Nailakhanim Isayeva.
In order to fulfill these tasks, responsible people, working groups have been appointed and started their work.
