On January 28, 2020, a Conference dedicated to the scientific success of Khazar University and cooperation with Tabriz University was held at Khazar University Marble Hall.

The Conference was attended by University Leadership, Deans of Schools, Head of the Departments and staff, and representatives from Tabriz University in Iran.

Speaking at the Conference, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, stated that University has successfully continued its research work in recent years, and thus increased the number of the articles published in prestigious journals, and emphasized that this kind of activities deserve praise and credit, he also cordially welcomed Tabriz University representatives.

Dr. Bahman Amani, Head of the Department of English Language and Literature, introduced the representatives of Tabriz University – from the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering - Professor Ebrahim Babaei, Associate Professor Seyed Hadi Aghdasi Alamdari, Professor Kazem Zare and from the Department of Education and Psychology - Associate Professor Rasoul Heshmati, furthermore Dr. Amani provided concise information about their scientific activities. Professor Ebrahim Babaei, delivering speech on behalf of the University representatives stated that the cooperation between Tabriz University and Khazar University is an important event and they are confident that this cooperation will be fruitful. Professor Ebrahim Babaei delivered talk about the secrets and ways to succeed in scientific creativity field and interesting discussions were held around this topic.

Raziya Isayeva, Development Director, made a comprehensive presentation about the University for the guests from Tabriz.

Following that the ceremony of awarding for achievements in the field of scientific research started. Certificates and gifts were presented by the University Leadership, preceded by Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, and faculty deans, department heads and guests from Tabriz.

During the event, a short concert program consisting of the works of Azerbaijani composers was organized with the participation of the University Chamber Orchestra and Soloist Mahsati Jabbarova, Khazar University teacher, soloist of the State Academic Philharmonic named after Muslim Magomayev, conducted by Zulfiyya Sadigova, Head of Music and Fine Arts Department, honored teacher, pianist.

At the end of the event, all guests were invited to the Khazar University Conference and Leisure Center in Buzovna. Guests and other participants from Tabriz University were acquainted with the Conference and Leisure Center. A reception was held in honor of the guests and diploma awardees for their academic achievements.

Tabriz University Representatives - Ebrahim Babaei, Seyed Hadi Aghdasi Alamdari, Kazem Zare and Rasoul Heshmati met with Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, and discussed cooperation between the two universities.

The guests were acquainted with the University's Central campus, held meetings with faculty, department staff and students, visited “Dunya” School and Sumgait “Dunya” School and attended the exhibition of the students’ works majoring in design. Moreover, an excursion of Baku city was organized for them.
