On December 18, 2019, discussions regarding the visit of Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, and Dr. Bahman Amani, Head of the English Language and Literature Department, to Iran (December 8-11) was held.

Professor Hamlet Isakhanli opened the meeting and provided detailed information about the results of the meetings held in Julfa, Hoy, Tabriz and Maragha, and also about envisaged for future implementation. Professor indicated that while Khazar University has extensive links with European and Turkish universities, its relations with Iranian universities are weak and respective measures should be taken in this field. Professor also talked about the opportunity to create a triangular association between the universities of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran, and emphasized its great efficiency.

Then Dr. Bahman Amani provided information on the events they took part in the respective cities in the chronological sequence and thuswise delivered a complete picture of their visit to participants.

At the end, Professor Hamlet Isakhanli expressed his specific views on expanding relations with Iranian universities and recommended the University bodies to prepare relevant proposals.
