On December 17-18, 2019, the “5^th Eurasian International Conference of Scientific Research and Contemporary Studies” was held at Khazar University.

The Conference was opened by Mustafa Latif Emek, the Chairman of IKSAD. He announced that the Conference received more than 400 articles, 165 scientific articles were included to the agenda and representatives from different countries of the world were taking part at the Conference: Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Pakistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ethiopia and others. Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, the Founder of Khazar University and Chairman of its Board of Directors and Trustees, Professor Irada Khalilova, Rector of Khazar University, Muntazir Mehdi, Representative of Islamabad Modern National University, Professor Mahira Huseynova, Dean of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University delivered speeches.

Mustafa Latif Emek, the Chairman of IKSAD presented courtesies to Professor Hamlet Isakhanli, Associate Professor Irada Khalilova and Alovsat Amirbeyli. At the opening ceremony, the performance by Khazar University Chamber Orchestra and the dance group were greeted with applause.

The conference continued its work in sections. Reports of scholars and experts from different scientific and higher educational institutions, including Khazar University, were listened out and were followed by discussions. At the end, the participants were given certificates.
