Academic probation is an action usually taken only in the first two years of study in order to avoid unsatisfactory academic performance.
Undergraduate students whose cumulative G.P.A. is 68 or less are subject to academic probation.
A student on probation is subject to restrictions regarding the course load for which he or she may register.
To remove probation status, the student must achieve a G.P.A. of 70 the following semester.
Students who do not remove probation status within two semesters are subject to dismissal.
