Khazar University extends teaching and learning beyond its campuses through educational outreach in schools, youth centres and other community settings. Throughout the year, university departments and specialists organise and contribute to tailored lectures, workshops and seminars that respond to the interests and needs of different audiences.
Psychological awareness is an important focus of this work. Through school visits and collaboration with community organisations, university specialists share practical knowledge on emotional wellbeing, effective study habits, substance-use prevention, the consequences of early marriage and other issues. Interactive discussions and question-and-answer sessions give participants opportunities to explore these topics and seek guidance.
Malak Karimova, Director of the University’s Psychology Center, shared recommendations on managing time, coping with examination anxiety and using effective study methods. Ulvi Babasoy, a lecturer in the Department of Languages and Literatures, introduced students to university learning and the educational opportunities available at Khazar University.

A seminar on "Psychological and Physiological Consequences of Early Marriage" was held at the Baku Youth Center under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, organized by IPSYSO Azerbaijan (International Psychology Student Organization Azerbaijan) with a presentation by Mirsadiq Mukhtarov, staff member of Khazar University's Psychology Department and psychologist at the Khazar Psychological Service Center.

An awareness seminar titled "Say No to Drug Addiction" was held on March 10, 2026, at Secondary School No. 21 in the Yasamal district of Baku, organized by the Juvenile Preventive Work Division (JPWD) of the Baku City Main Police Department. Mirsadiq Mukhtarov, a staff member of the Psychology Department at Khazar University and psychologist at the Khazar Psychological Service Centre, provided detailed information at the seminar on the factors contributing to the development of substance dependency.
