The Academic Council is the main collegial governing body responsible for the general management of Khazar University. Organized in accordance with the current procedures and headed by the Rector, it serves as the key decision-making platform for guiding the University’s academic, research, and institutional development. Through the participation of university leadership, faculty representatives, and other members of the university community, the Academic Council considers and approves important matters related to academic policy, quality assurance, program development, research priorities, and internal regulations.
