The student body comes from Baku, various regions of Azerbaijan, countries of the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, Africa, India, Pakistan, South Korea, Europe, North America and other countries.

Many races and cultures are represented. Khazar University has a total student body of approximately 1700.

Of them, 54.4% are males and 45.6% - females.

20% of the students are pursuing graduate studies.

International students constitute about 15% of the student body.
