Scientific Seminar Dedicated to International Mother Language Day to Be Held

On February 18, 2026, at 12:00, a scientific seminar on "Functionality of the Azerbaijani Language: Modern Approaches" dedicated to International Mother Language Day will be held within the framework of Khazar University's 35th anniversary, organized by the Department of Languages and Literature.

The event will feature discussions on the following topics with the participation of Professor Nadir Mammadli, Director of the Institute of Linguistics named after Nasimi of ANAS; Natiq Mammadli, Deputy Executive Director of the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and writer-journalist; and Ilgar Fahmi, Secretary for Creative Affairs of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, writer-screenwriter, and poet:

Principles of loanword integration into the language
Forms of manifestation of the Azerbaijani language in media
Aesthetic-psychological impacts of literary language in the modern period
