Seminar on “A Global Framework for English: Is CEFR the Only Way?” to Be Held

The Department of English Language and Literature at Khazar University is pleased to announce an upcoming seminar titled “A Global Framework for English: Is CEFR the Only Way?”

The seminar will take place on December 25, starting at 12:00 PM (Baku Time), at Khazar University, Neftchilar Campus, Room 406 N.

The session will be delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Burcu Ak from Bartin University, Bartin, Türkiye. In this seminar, Dr. Ak will discuss the role of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in English language education and critically examine whether it should be considered the only global standard.

The seminar aims to provide valuable insights into language teaching, assessment, and global frameworks in English education.
