The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), invites foreigners interested in studying in Mexico to participate in the "2025 Call for Mexican Government Excellence Scholarships for Foreigners."

The Call is offered to more than 170 countries, within the framework of bilateral agreements, multilateral mechanisms, and special agreements. 90 Mexican Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) participate in this Call, and all have academic programs registered in the National Postgraduate System of the National Council of Science and Technology. These programs are a testament to the progress the country has made in various areas of science and humanities.

By awarding Mexican Government Excellence Scholarships for foreign students, Mexico strengthens its role as a globally responsible player and reaffirms its commitment to fostering cooperative actions to promote the development of high-level human capital. The presence of foreign students, academics, and scientists, both men and women, in Mexico contributes to building permanent and long-term bridges of dialogue that enrich the foreign policy agenda with actions of exceptional value for the country and its foreign partners. Furthermore, Mexican HEIs and the academic community benefit from greater internationalization.
