February 21 Marks International Mother Language Day

On February 21, 2024, at 12:30, a scientific seminar on "Preserving of the purity of the Azerbaijani language in the globalized world" will be held at Khazar University under the organization of the Department of Languages and Literatures.

At the seminar, Prof. Sevinj Aliyeva, director of the Monitoring Center under the State Language Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, will speak on various aspects, including maintaining the norms of the state language across all domains, advancing the Azerbaijani language on the international stage, ensuring proper usage of literary language, fostering language and speech culture, and addressing related issues.
