A seminar entitled "Meeting the Needs of students with Disabilities in Higher Education" to be held

A seminar entitled "Meeting the Needs of Students with Disabilities in Higher Education" will be organized by the School of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences.

The speaker is Dr.Qaisar Sultana, a professor from Eastern Kentucky University was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Specialist Award in Azerbaijan and aims to share knowledge and build partnerships that will benefit participants, institutions, and communities in both the United States and Azerbaijan through various educational and training activities.

Funded by the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Council, the special Fulbright Program selects awardees based on their academic and professional achievements, demonstrated leadership in their fields, and potential to foster long-term collaboration between educational institutions in the United States and abroad. Dr. Sultana is one of more than 400 US citizens who participate in the program each year.

The seminar will be held in Khazar University 41 Mehseti Street, 408 N, on May 24, 2023, at 15:00. The duration of the seminar will be 90 minutes.
