Candidates for admission to doctoral and dissertation programs must register in advance at portal.edu.az in accordance with the instructions. You can get acquainted with the instructions of the e-application system for admission of doctoral students to higher education institutions here.
Sending applications through Portal.edu.az will be possible from April 5 this year.
The deadline for submission of documents is May 5, 2022.
Those wishing to be admitted to a doctoral program in the PhD program must take entrance examinations in a foreign language (except for Russian, the choice should be free or compatible with the specialty), philosophy and specialty in the amount of valid curricula for master's degree. The foreign language exam is held by the State Examination Center in June.
Those who pass the foreign language exam are admitted to the philosophy exam held in September, and those who pass the philosophy exam are admitted to the specialty exam.
Individuals whose main place of work is a higher education institution, scientific institution and organization can apply for a dissertation under the Doctor of Philosophy program. Applicants must have at least two years of research or teaching experience.
Those wishing to be admitted to the dissertation must obtain a passing score in from the foreign language exam held by the State Examination Center in June within the scope of the curriculum in force for the master's level of higher education (except for Russian, the choice should be free or compatible with the specialty). Those who pass the foreign language test will be admitted to the interview in September.
