Vacancy for Full-time Instructor

Political Science and International Relations Department of Khazar University announces vacancy for the position of full time instructor.

Required qualifications:

A PhD degree in Political Science/International Relations;
Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English;
Research capacities;
Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience in the field;
Strong commitment to the mission, vision and strategic goals of Khazar University;
Organizational skills, time management and high-level communication skills.

Essential Duties:

Teaching undergraduate and graduate students in assigned courses;
Developing and implementing class syllabi;
Creating, planning course materials such as lectures, discussions, assignments;
Assisting the Coordinator of the Department in organizing extracurricular events related to the field;
Conducting academic research and publish in scholarly journals;
Performing all other related duties as assigned by the Coordinator of the Department.
