“Let’s Learn World Literature” Project is to start

On December 21, 2018, at 14:00, the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature of Khazar University will start “Let’s learn world literature” project. The first presentation of the project will take place in the conference hall (room 102N) with a trilogy, “The Kite Runner”, “A Thousand Splendid Suns”, “And the Mountains Echoed”, by Khaled Hosseini, an author with Afghan origin.

The presentation will be attended by Prof. Badirkhan Ahmadov, DSc. in Philology and Head of the Department of Azerbaijan-Asia Literary Relations, ANAS; Gunay Ibrahimova, PhD candidate of ANAS, expert in Afghan studies; Gardashkhan Azizkhanli, Project Leader and Instructor of the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature; Havva Adle, an Afghan reader as well as Khazar University students.
