“World One Health” day event to be held at Khazar University

On November 3, 2017 at 3 p.m., Khazar University will hold an event to mark the World One Health Day. The event will be held in a conference room 201N on the Neftchilar Campus.

What is One Health? Briefly, it is the collaborative effort of multiple health science professions, together with their related disciplines and institutions operating at local, national and global levels to achieve the best health for humans, animals, wildlife, plants, and our environment.

One Health high priority areas are:

Infectious Diseases (Surveillance, Prevention and Response)
Safety and Security of Food and Water (Diseases and Supply)
Ecosystem Health (Wildlife, Plants and Environment)
Antimicrobial Resistance

The event is open to the public.
