Khazar University with the support SPE Azerbaijan section is delighted to offer a PhD scholarship within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences

A full PhD scholarship is available at the Petroleum Engineering department within the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Khazar University.

The selected applicant will also be offered a paid researcher position in a research team working on a fully funded industry scale research project, where he/she will be given an opportunity to work with real field data.

Applicant needs to

possess a post-graduate diploma (MSc) from local or foreign universities in Geosciences or Petroleum Related Disciplines.
possess an adequate proficiency in the English language.
have a clear understanding of basin and reservoir geology as well as rock mechanics, and good awareness of the petro physical evaluation of well logs.
be open to teach and share their knowledge as they will be offered a teaching position at the university during the duration of the PhD program.
