In December 2016, an intellectual competition will be held with the organizational support of the Youth Foundation of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic. The competition, part of a project called “Science Party,” will cover history, geography, culture and literature of the Ancient East. The objective of the competition is to develop Azerbaijani young people’s understanding and interest in world history and national heritage as well as to increase awareness of popular science in society. It is also supported by the Archeology and Ethnography Institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Khazar University Department of History and Archeology, and Society of Azerbaijani Archeologists.
