1. ETAI Center Conference: "The Age of AI: Power, Diplomacy, and Academic Excellence"

The ETAI Research Center, in collaboration with Khazar University, organized a landmark full-day conference titled "The Age of AI: Power, Diplomacy, and Academic Excellence" on May 8, 2026, at the Neftchilar Campus (Room 102N), Khazar University, Baku, Azerbaijan. Held as part of Khazar University's 35th Anniversary Academic Series, the event brought together international scholars, researchers, students, and professionals to explore the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on global affairs, diplomacy, and academic innovation.

The conference featured two main segments. The first was a high-level panel discussion on "AI and the Future of the International System: Power, Order, and Diplomacy", which examined how AI is reshaping international relations, global power structures, and the future world order, with contributions from Assoc. Prof. Leyla Türker Şener (Istanbul University, Türkiye), Dr. Fatih Sinan Esen (ETAI Center, Khazar University), Dr. Gloria Shkurti Özdemir (ETAI Center, Khazar University), and Assoc. Prof. Dolapo Fakuade (Coventry University, United Kingdom). The second segment consisted of interactive workshops on academic writing and research excellence in the AI era, covering topics such as innovation and entrepreneurship, practical AI applications for postgraduate students, and the use of AI in research projects. Participants who completed the workshops received certificates of attendance.
