Conference Participations
Dr. Dolapo Fakuade, member of the ETAI Center, will participate in the Everything AI international event, organised by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in collaboration with the European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance (EELISA).
The event will take place on 13–14 May 2026 at the UN House in Brussels, Belgium, and online.
Bringing together policymakers, researchers, and practitioners, Everything AI offers a multidisciplinary platform to explore the evolving role of artificial intelligence across governance, law, ethics, and society.
The event focuses on translating AI governance principles into practical, real-world applications, addressing challenges such as accountability, risk management, democratic resilience, and institutional implementation.
The ETAI Center served as an official partner of the Third UNITAR International Research Conference (3UIRC), held on 3–4 December 2025 at the UN House in Brussels.
This global gathering brought together leading institutions, scholars, and practitioners to explore innovative research at the intersection of peace, technology, and sustainable development.
The Center was represented by Director Gloria Shkurti Özdemir, who participated in conference dialogues and contributed to discussions on the role of emerging technologies in international affairs.
This partnership marked an important step in strengthening ETAI Center’s international collaborations and visibility in global research networks.

The Director of the ETAI Center, Dr. Gloria Shkurti Özdemir, participated in the 9th Bosphorus International Conference on Cybersecurity, Cyberpolitics and Social Sciences, held on October 23–26, 2025, in Ankara, Türkiye.
She presented her article titled “Disinformation and Digital Elections,” contributing to scholarly discussions on emerging challenges in the digital age.
Dr. Gloria Shkurti Özdemir participated in the 2025 Dialogue on BRICS Special Economic Zones on 25 September 2025 at the Hangzhou International Expo Center in China.
The high-level forum, held alongside the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo, brought together experts and decision-makers from BRICS countries to explore new models of special economic zones and technological cooperation.
Dr. Gloria Shkurti Özdemir participated in the 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Technologies and Aerospace Issues, held on July 8–9, 2025, at the National Aviation Academy, Azerbaijan.
Her engagement contributed to discussions on emerging AI applications and their intersection with aerospace technologies.
