Department Head's article in “Eurasian Research Journal”

The article "Post-Conflict Transformation In Azerbaijan: Rethinking The Politics of Nationalism and Rewriting History", co-authored by Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Veliyev, Head of the Department of Political Science and Philosophy at Khazar University, was published in " Eurasian Research Journal " (October 30, 2025, Vol. 7, No. 4). "Eurasian Research Journal" is an international journal indexed in the EBSCO scientific database and published by Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University since 2019.

Assoc. Prof. Orkhan Valiyev and Elchin Huseynov analyze the process of reshaping Azerbaijani nationalism and historiography after the Second Karabakh War. The authors examine the impact of the Russian Empire and the Soviet era on national identity and emphasize the importance of decolonizing historiography in the post-war period.
