On March 19, 2026, a Nowruz celebration was held at Khazar University with the participation of university administration, staff, faculty, and students. Alumni who had been invited to the event titled "Khazar: Where Alumni, Students, and the Future Meet," organized on the occasion of the university's 35th anniversary, also took part in the festivities.

Khazar University founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli, and university rector Dr. Razia Isaeva delivered remarks, congratulating the greater Khazar family on the occasion of Nowruz and wishing them success in their personal lives, studies, and professional endeavors. Speeches were also delivered on behalf of the alumni.

Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli lit the festive bonfire, and participants performed the yalli dance around it. The university's dance and music groups presented a concert program.

The holiday celebration concluded in a joyful and festive spirit.
