Khazar University derives its reputable name from ‘Xəzər dənizi’ or the Caspian Sea. It is a private institution of higher education and research, located in Baku, the beautiful, very safe, and multi-cultural capital city of Azerbaijan.

According to the "QS World University Rankings: Europe 2025" publication, Khazar University climbed 12 spots to rank 360th. Additionally, it was placed 16th among universities in West Asia.

In order to apply, applicants need to send the filled Application Form together with all the required documents to admissions@khazar.org.

NB: After you accept Khazar University’s Offer of Admission, by law, you must get registered as a student via portal.edu.az, a governmental system that keeps the record of international students to unify the paperwork across the whole country. The deadline for registering via https://portal.edu.az/ is early September 2025, and those students who miss this deadline will not be able to commence the study from the 2025 Autumn Semester.
