On June 4, 2024, an awards ceremony was held to honor students who successfully represented Khazar University in national and international events and projects. The event was attended by the founder of Khazar University and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Trustees, Prof. Acad. Hamlet Isakhanli; the Rector of Khazar University, Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova; Vice Rector for Administration and Student Affairs, Isakhan Isakhanli; faculty deans; university employees; and students.

Irada Khalilova opened the event with a congratulatory speech for the students. A video showcasing their achievements was then presented. Following this, the students—Huseyn Musayev, Sharkiya Rahimli, Aysu Mammadli, Lala Maharramova, Shafa Yusifova, Zeynal Mardanli, Amina Aliyeva, Aygun Muradova, Davud Vahidov, Farid Jannetov, Ravan Sharifov, Afat Ahmadova, Aisha Bashirli (School of Science and Engineering); Shahin Aliyev, Elvin Mammadsalahov, Alagha Babayev, Ziya Alizade, Adam Aliyev, Narmin Jabrayilova (School of Economics and Management); Khayala Mammadova, Shayaste Malekan, Aldila Gonita Putri Aulia, Zohra Mammadova, Seria Allazova, Akif Rafibeyli, Gulsun Hamidova, Minura Javadova ( School of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences); Brilliant Windy Khairunnisa (Graduate School of Science, Art and Technology); Aduagba Yahaya Abdullahi and Momeena Mehdi (Graduate School of Economics and Business)—were awarded prizes.

After the awards ceremony, the Chairman of the Student Assembly, Huseyn Musayev, expressed his gratitude to the university administration and congratulated the students. Speaking on behalf of international students, second-year master's student Siyuan Wang highlighted that despite being far from his homeland, he feels at home in Azerbaijan and at the university.

The event also featured a congratulatory speech from Khazar University alumnus and Head of the Department of Social Orders and Projects of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, and Patriotic War participant, Farhad Allahverdizade. The event concluded with a concert program.
