On May 1, 2024, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Khazar University and the "MIRAS" Social Organization in Support of the Study of Cultural Heritage. Participants in the event included Khazar University's Rector, Assoc. Prof. Irada Khalilova, the chairman of the social organization's board, Fariz Khalilli, and board members Gafar Jabiyev, Shikar Gasimov, Maleyka Huseynova, as well as Khazar University's project manager, Salima Ahmadova.

The memorandum aims to foster the development of scientific and practical knowledge among university students and to implement projects promoting social responsibility. It also seeks to strengthen and continue the cooperation initiated under the PICASP project, organize regular meetings, joint events, and collaborate on projects aimed at enhancing the continuous development of students' knowledge and skills. Collaboration is planned in areas of mutual interest to both parties.

To expedite the implementation of the agreed-upon processes, cooperation between the relevant departments of both organizations is essential, along with the importance of maintaining regular meetings with students.
