On April 24th, 2024, the Department of Economics and Management at Khazar University organized an International Workshop on "Decision-Making Approaches in Sustainable Energy".

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jeyhun Mammadov, Dean of the School of Economics and Management, inaugurated the workshop and emphasized the alignment of its objective and importance with the national agenda for promoting a clean environment and green economy, as outlined in the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev on "Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development".

Prof. Mahammad Nuriyev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, greeted the participants and esteemed researchers and highlighted the importance of Fuzzy logic applications in research across various academic disciplines.

The workshop hosted distinguished international researchers - Prof. Dr. Serhat Yüksel and Prof. Dr. Hasan Dinçer from Istanbul Medipol University, Prof. Dr. Dragan Pamucar from the University of Belgrade, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tevfik Kartal from the European University of Lefke, and Dr. Aziz Nuriyev from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University - who presented their latest findings and insights.

The event fostered high interactivity through questions and discussions, which led to the cultivation of future research ideas.
