Prof. Badirkhan Ahmadli, a lecturer of the Department of Languages and Literatures of Khazar University, head of the Department of Azerbaijan-Asian Literary Relations of the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of ANAS, doctor of philological sciences, was on a scientific mission to Uzbekistan on April 16-22, 2024. The professor participated in the conference dedicated to Jadids held at Fergana State University, located in Fergana Province, Uzbekistan, and gave a speech on "Ismayil Bey Gaspirali and the movement of Jadids in Azerbaijan". Topics included "Modernization Movement in the Turkish World," "Shared Characteristics of Uzbek Modernists and Azerbaijani Intellectuals," and "The Formula of Unity in Language, Thought, and Work in a New Era" inspired by Ismayil Bey Gaspirali.
Lectures on "Literature and Repression: Examining Soviet Mechanisms of Literary Control" garnered significant interest from both students and graduate students. Scientists from Türkiye and various universities of Uzbekistan participated in the conference.
At the invitation of Hamidulla Baltabayev, assistant rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Prof. B. Ahmadli gave a lecture on "The Triple Formula of Turkism" at the Faculty of Philology. The lecture was received with interest by the faculty of the university, many questions were asked to the professor about the topic.
